Senior Associate Solicitor – Employment Law Location: London Are you an experienced Employment Lawyer looking for the next step in your career? Our London Employment department is seeking a talented Senior Associate Solicitor to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in employment law who is ready to take on a leadership role and work on high-quality, diverse cases. The Role As a Senior Associate, you will manage a broad and complex caseload, focusing primarily on Respondent work while also contributing to the team’s business development efforts and mentoring junior team members. You’ll work closely with our partners and have the opportunity to take a hands-on role in the growth of our thriving Employment practice. What You’ll Be Doing: Handling the full spectrum of employment law matters, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing, TUPE, redundancy, and senior executive exits. Representing clients in Employment Tribunal and High Court litigation, including in insolvency situations. Managing a 70/30 Respondent to Claimant work split. Providing general advisory services to a range of clients. Developing and maintaining strong client relationships through clear, confident communication and sound legal advice. Assisting partners on complex matters and supervising junior members of the team, delegating work effectively. Actively contributing to the team’s business development and networking efforts to attract new clients and grow the firm’s profile. Skills & Attributes We’re Looking For: Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PQE in employment law. Extensive experience in Respondent-focused work. A strong communicator, able to build and manage rapport with clients. Capable of managing your own caseload independently. A personable, team-oriented approach with a commercial mindset. Highly motivated and able to work proactively with minimal supervision. Business development experience or strong interest in client growth activities.
