We're partnered with a leading integrated marketing agency who are expanding their digital offering and looking for a Senior WordPress Developer to join their growing tech team. This is a very exciting time for them!
Some of their clients include: Cancer Research UK, NHS Ambulance services, AgeUK, Covonia and many others.
What You'll Be Doing:
1. Building and maintaining complex web projects using WordPress
2. Leading backend development and database structures
3. Developing and integrating APIs and third-party systems
4. Collaborating with designers and creatives to deliver exceptional digital experiences
5. Mentoring junior developers and supporting the technical lead
6. Overseeing hosting environments (Plesk, cPanel) and recommending improvements
7. Ensuring performance, scalability, and security across all builds
What You'll Bring:
8. 5 years' experience in PHP development
9. Strong knowledge of WordPress.
10. Solid front-end skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React or Livewire a bonus)
11. Experience with Git, version control, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
12. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment
13. Strong problem-solving, debugging, and documentation skills
