Service Desk Manager £60,000 - 70,000 GBP Onsite WORKING Location: United Kingdom (Greater London) Type: Permanent Role: Service Desk Manager Salary: £40,000 - £48,000 Additional Package: 5% SiS Bonus, Extensive Benefits Package Location: Bracknell Are you a Service Desk Manager ready to lead from the front? Whether you're mentoring junior techs or streamlining IT processes, this Service Desk Manager role offers the scope to grow your influence and your capabilities. Role Requirements of a Service Desk Manager: Lead the day-to-day operations of the service desk, ensuring issues and requests are resolved quickly and effectively. Drive high support standards by managing SLAs, KPIs, and quality processes. Implement automation workflows and improve service delivery using ITSM tools. Oversee performance and people management, communication, and recruitment activities. Coordinate escalations, patching, change/release management, and reporting duties. Skills & Experience: Proven leadership experience within IT support and service desk environments. Strong technical understanding across virtualisation (VMWare/Horizon) and Microsoft Server 2019. Familiarity with CISCO/Juniper network devices and infrastructure management. Comfortable working with reporting and monitoring tools such as SCOM, SQL, and ePo.
