HR Administrator – Laindon, Basildon Area**
Must drive due to location
Salary: £26,500
Hours: 37.5 per week
Contract: Fixed-Term Contract – up to 12 months

We’re seeking a motivated and detail‑driven HR Administrator to join a fast‑paced HR Service Centre on a fixed‑term contract of up to one year. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on organisation, enjoys variety, and loves being the backbone of a busy team.
What You’ll Be Doing
*
Managing return‑to‑work documentation — inputting, filing, tracking, and chasing
*
Maintaining and auditing SharePoint to keep information accurate and accessible
*
Checking invoices and saving reports with precision and consistency
*
Supporting key HR processes for both hourly and salaried employees
*
Reviewing settlement agreement invoices
*
Producing clear, professional absence reports and presentation slides
*
Providing essential cover for colleagues, including inputting EADs and sickness certificates
*
Updating sickness absence trackers
*
Coordinating Long Service Award administration
*
Delivering additional HR administrative support as needed
Skills You’ll Bring
*
Confident using Excel, Word, Outlook and Internet Explorer
*
At least one year’s experience in a busy office environment
*
Strong written and verbal communication skills
*
Ability to prioritise tasks and stay calm under pressure
*
A proactive, can‑do attitude — you take initiative and get things done
*
A positive, collaborative approach as a key team player
