To be considered for this position you must hold a City and Guild 1 or 2/NVQ Level 2 in Catering.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the catering provision within the home/scheme to deliver a quality service.
* Ensure that all residents’ nutritional needs are met whilst respecting the choice of the individual and promoting health and wellbeing.
* Manage the efficiency, hygiene and safety in the catering area and organise and supervise the work of other staff working in the kitchen.
* Maintain the correct HACCP principles in all catering areas and ensure all legislative standards are met.
Preferred Skills and Experience
* Able to delegate to a kitchen team.
* Ensure all residents receive their meals throughout the day.
* Understand the national minimum standards for care catering.
* Experience within a care environment or restaurant/pub.
