Site Manager - Main Contractor | Midlands / UK Projects We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a growing main contractor delivering medium to large-scale construction projects across sectors including commercial, education, healthcare, retail, refurbishment and new build. This is a hands-on role for a strong leader with a proven track record of delivering projects safely, on programme, within budget and to a high standard of quality. Key Responsibilities Day-to-day site management of live construction projects Managing subcontractors, site labour and project sequencing Driving health & safety standards and ensuring full compliance Quality control, inspections, snagging and close-out processes Coordinating temporary works, utilities, permits and logistics Monitoring progress against programme and producing short-term lookaheads Liaising with clients, consultants and commercial teams throughout delivery Experience Required Proven Site Manager experience on £1m+ construction projects Background in commercial, healthcare, education, retail, refurbishment or new build schemes Strong subcontractor management and programme delivery skills Experience working in live / occupied environments advantageous Good understanding of temporary works, permits and site logistics Strong communication and leadership ability Qualifications Essential: SMSTS CSCS Card First Aid (preferred) ...
