Quality Manager at Grupo CIDEXA
Reporting to: Head of Quality & Regulation
Responsibilities
* Lead on the external quality assurance for all qualifications within BIIAB and SEG Awards.
* Drive quality improvement through effective quality assurance activities and processes.
* Support the Head of Quality and Regulation to ensure quality compliance with regulators and regulatory bodies for SEG Awards and BIIAB.
* Oversee the coordination of the allocation of appropriately qualified and experienced EQAs to ensure visits are completed on time and at appropriate intervals across SEG Awards and BIIAB.
* Line manage the Senior Automotive Quality and Compliance Lead, Senior Quality Officers, and support them in their duties.
* Develop the strategy for the allocation of centre EQA and other quality visits in conjunction with the Head of Quality and Regulation.
* Plan the annual visit allocation for centres considering registration volume, qualification range, and centre size.
* Recruit and oversee the quality of external assessors and examiners for all external assessments across SEG and BIIAB.
* Onboard new casual workers and plan the quality and regulatory activities for automotive centres.
* Lead the planning and delivery of standardisation and the annual standardisation plan across all brands and qualifications.
* Establish and maintain EQA report standards and the review process to ensure centre compliance.
* Develop and deliver training for EQAs, examiners, and chief examiners.
* Update policies and processes related to quality assurance compliance.
* Produce analysis of key findings from EQA reports to identify quality improvement themes.
* Provide advice and support to the Centre Support Manager on EQA and quality assurance queries.
* Oversee monitoring of automotive centres to ensure full compliance with assessment activities.
* Attend meetings with third‑party stakeholders (e.g., DVSA).
* Contribute to the organisation’s annual self‑assessment and improvement plan.
* Manage the quality inbox and maintain the quality calendar.
* Coordinate the Casual Worker conference.
Salary: £42,000
