Make a difference as a Site Manager - lead safe, efficient, and compliant site operations.
A quick look at the role
Responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations in collaboration with Engineering, Safety, and management teams, ensuring compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and statutory regulations. The role supports the growth, efficiency, and profitability of the recovery and treatment business by overseeing safe and compliant operations and ensuring the consistent production of high-quality SRF pellets through processes including material preparation, shredding, drying, densification, and storage.
Your Core Responsibilities
1. Foster a proactive safety culture, monitor compliance, set improvement targets, conduct H&S checks, and ensure corrective actions are taken. Report findings to the Safety & Compliance Manager.
2. Oversee safe and compliant site operations, deputise for the Head of Business Unit when required, and attend key meetings (Safety, Sales, HR, etc.) to support site performance.
3. Deliver against the annual P&L budget and conduct weekly cost reviews to ensure value for money.
4. Monitor KPIs and implement strategies for performance improvement, aligning production output with customer demand and logistical schedules.
5. Enhance employee engagement and lead staff development through structured plans.
6. Drive innovation in technologies and processes to increase profitability and efficiency.
7. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of production data and stock counts, and ensure SRF production meets technical and customer specifications.
8. Resolve customer complaints through root cause analysis and lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
Requirements

* COTC Level 4 and NEBOSH General Certificate
* Proven leadership in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
* Strategic H&S management experience
* Strong communicator with the ability to lead and motivate teams
* Willingness to be on-call for emergencies
