We are looking for a Junior Technical Sales Consultant to join the team in Cardiff.

About the Opportunity
As a Junior Technical Sales Consultant, you’ll join our Strategic Account Success team and gain hands-on experience working with enterprise clients globally. You’ll support senior colleagues in implementing bespoke solutions, learn how to act as a subject matter expert for APIs, integrations, and file deliveries, and develop the foundations to grow into a fully independent consultant.
What You Will Be Doing
1. Support senior consultants in client discovery sessions, helping to capture business requirements and technical use cases.
2. Assist in building and testing bespoke solutions using technologies such as Python, S3, and automation platforms.
3. Learn to work with SOAP/REST APIs, SFTP file systems, and cloud-based tools.
4. Provide day-to-day support on implementations under supervision, ensuring smooth delivery.
5. Document and maintain technical specifications for smaller projects.
6. Participate in team whiteboarding and problem-solving sessions.
7. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the team.
What We’re Looking For
8. Demonstratable ability to write clean and efficient code (Python preferred).
9. Knowledge of APIs, file transfer systems, and databases (academic or personal project experience welcomed).
10. Excellent communication skills, with a willingness to learn how to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.
11. A curiosity for business data and credit reporting, with a proactive approach to self-learning.
12. Ability to plan work, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
