Job Title: Office and HR Administrator Location: Gateshead, Team Valley Reports To: Head of People Salary: Up to £28,000 DOE Working Hours: 40 hours Overview: We're looking for a proactive Office and HR Administrator to keep our office running smoothly and support our HR processes. You'll be the go-to person for general admin tasks, helping with onboarding, HR records, and supporting our leadership team with scheduling and documentation. Key Responsibilities: Office Administration: Manage office supplies and equipment Schedule meetings and manage calendars Answer phones and greet visitors Maintain office and meeting room standards Organise internal events like meetings, celebrations, or training Support with health and safety checks and documentation Liaise with facilities and cleaning teams to keep everything in top condition Work with service providers for catering, supplies, and maintenance HR Administration: Assist with onboarding and inductions Keep HR systems and trackers up to date (e.g. new starters, leavers, absences) Help prepare HR letters and meeting invites Ensure compliance with right to work documentation and HR policies Arrange annual health checks and manage related records Support audits with accurate data and reporting What We're Looking For: Essential: At least 2 years' admin or HR admin experience Strong organisational and communication skills High attention to detail and accuracy Confident working with people at all levels Understanding of basic employment law Maintains confidentiality at all times Desirable: CIPD Level 3 or equivalent HR experience in manufacturing or similar environment Experience with HR systems and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Other Information: Training will be provided as needed All duties must be carried out in line with company health, safety, and quality standards ADZN1_UKTJ
