Essential Functions:
* Pre-prepare items required for the workstation according to par sheets or instructions from the executive chef and sous chef.
* Prepare products assigned to his/her workstation during service.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Prepares meats, seafood, vegetables, and other items required for line and special function purposes.
* Carefully follow standard recipes when pre-preparing and preparing all items.
* Uses food preparation equipment according to manufacturers' instructions.
* Cleans workstation and equipment.
* Returns unused food products to proper food storage areas.
* Assists with the preparation of other food products on the serving line as needed.
* Consistently uses safe and sanitary food handling procedures.
* Returns soiled food preparation utensils and other small ware items to the proper areas.
Schedule:
* Must be available for a variety of shifts including weekdays, holidays, weekends, and nights.
Education:
* High school or equivalent. (Preferred)
Experience:
* Restaurant experience: 1 year. (Preferred)
