About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated Cook to provide delicious meals and refreshments for our clients staff, customers, and visitors. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your culinary skills while ensuring a welcoming environment for everyone.
Key Responsibilities:
Meal Preparation: Plan a varied weekly menu, prepare and assemble ingredients, and cook meals that cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements.
Food Safety & Hygiene: Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring the hygienic handling of food and maintaining a clean kitchen environment.
Kitchen Management: Maintain an organised kitchen, keep accurate records of food items, and monitor supplies to reorder stock as necessary.
Equipment Care: Ensure all kitchen equipment is in good working order and report any issues promptly.
Health & Safety Compliance: Follow all Health and Safety requirements and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.
Additional Duties: Be ready to undertake other responsibilities as required by your line manager to support the team.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in a similar cooking or kitchen role.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
A cheerful disposition with a passion for customer service and teamwork.
