Groundworks Site Manager / Foreman - Birmingham - Immediate Start
We are currently seeking an experienced Groundworks Site Manager / Foreman for an immediate start on a project in Birmingham. This role will suit a hands‑on individual with strong groundworks and civil engineering experience, ideally gained within commercial or industrial environments.
You will be responsible for supervising day‑to‑day groundworks operations, coordinating trades, and ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with programme.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervising groundworks operations on site
* Managing gangs carrying out drainage, foundations and external works
* Coordinating plant, labour and materials
* Ensuring works are delivered safely and to specification
* Monitoring progress and maintaining programme targets
* Liaising with site management and subcontractors
* Maintaining site H&S and quality standards
Requirements
* Proven experience in groundworks as Site Manager or Foreman
* Must have worked on commercial or industrial projects
* Strong knowledge of drainage, foundations and infrastructure works
* Ability to manage gangs and plant on site
* SMSTS or SSSTS preferred
* CSCS essential
* First Aid beneficial
