Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead our HR department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in human resources management, with a focus on developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our organisational goals. This role requires exceptional communication skills and the ability to foster a positive workplace culture.
Duties
* Oversee the recruitment process, including the use of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Taleo and Workday, to ensure effective talent acquisition.
* Manage employee onboarding and training programmes to enhance staff retention and engagement.
* Supervise HR staff, providing guidance and support in their daily activities and professional development.
* Conduct data analysis to inform HR decisions and improve operational efficiency.
* Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that comply with legal requirements and best practices.
* Facilitate performance management processes, including appraisals and feedback sessions.
* Prepare and deliver presentations on HR initiatives to senior management and staff.
* Maintain the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) for accurate record-keeping of employee data.
Experience
* Proven experience in a human resources management role, with supervisory experience preferred.
* Proficiency in HRIS platforms such as PeopleSoft, Workday, or similar systems.
* Strong data analysis skills to interpret HR metrics and drive decision-making.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present information clearly to diverse audiences.
* Familiarity with employment law and regulations within the UK context.
