Offer description

We are looking for a proactive and organised HR Administrator to join us on an initial circa 18-month fixed-term contract to support maternity cover. Reporting to the HR Manager and based in our Grimsby office, you will be part of a friendly, multi-functioning, busy HR team. You will play an important role in ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new colleagues, maintaining accurate HR records, and providing day-to-day administrative support. This role would suit someone with some existing HR experience, or a strong administrator with a particular strength in building relationships and working proactively. This position can be offered on a full-time or part-time basis. For part-time arrangements, we are ideally seeking someone who can work each day, Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality administrative support across the HR function Manage onboarding processes, including issuing offer paperwork and completing background checks Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR System Support the coordination and delivery of the firm’s induction programme Assist with HR reporting, meetings, and wider HR initiatives as required Skills & Experience Previous experience in an administrative or customer-facing role The ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks at pace Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Highly organised with a proactive approach to work Confident IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
