We are seeking a dedicated and passionate part time Cook to join our kitchen team. Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menus.
* Assist in the planning and execution of daily meal preparation tasks.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
* Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
* Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety practices.
* Contribute creative ideas for menu development and special events.
Requirements
* Previous experience working in a care environment is essential.
* Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food preparation.
