Key Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems in accordance with industry standards, regulatory requirements and business objectives.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
* Monitor and analyse quality performance metrics to identify trends, root causes of issues, and areas for improvement.
* Lead investigations into product defects or non-conformities, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
* Collaborate with production, procurement, and other departments to ensure quality standards are integrated into all processes.
* Provide training and guidance to staff on quality assurance procedures and best practices.
* Engage directly with customers to address quality-related issues, provide updates, and build trust in our processes.
* Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics for senior management review.
* Stay updated on industry developments related to quality assurance and HACCP regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
* Proven experience in a quality management role or readiness to step up from a supervisory/quality-focused position.
* Experience of Quality Management or supervision in a manufacturing industry would be beneficial.
* Strong knowledge of ISO standards, Lean, Six Sigma, or other quality frameworks.
* Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively.
* Exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Effective communication skills to liaise across departments and deliver training programmes.
