Service Advisor – Bodyshop / Cosmetic Repair Location: Charles Hurst NI Carsmetic Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time Salary: OTE up to £35,000 (Basic £29,000 per annum) Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am–5:30pm, Friday 8am–5pm, Saturday 9am–1pm on a rota basis Charles Hurst NI Carsmetic is seeking a professional and enthusiastic Bodyshop Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. You will be the key link between our customers and our expert cosmetic repair technicians, ensuring that every customer enjoys a smooth and stress-free repair experience from initial estimate through to vehicle collection. Working closely with our Bodyshop and Aftersales teams, you’ll provide exceptional customer service, maintain clear communication, and manage repair jobs efficiently. Reporting directly to our Service Manager, Michael, you’ll receive continuous support and training to help you develop your skills and progress your career within the Charles Hurst network. This is an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused individual with experience in bodyshop or cosmetic repair environments who takes pride in delivering outstanding service and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: Greet customers, assess their vehicle repair needs, and book in cosmetic or accident repair work, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression. Arrange estimates, manage repair bookings, and coordinate schedules with technicians to ensure timely completion. Keep customers informed throughout the repair process, explaining work required, progress, and any additional recommendations clearly and confidently. Liaise with insurers, warranty providers, and suppliers to ensure all paperwork, authorisations, and claims are processed accurately and efficiently. Identify opportunities to recommend relevant cosmetic enhancements (e.g. alloy wheel refurbishment, paint protection, detailing packages) to enhance customer satisfaction. Work collaboratively with technicians and estimators to ensure smooth workflow, prioritise jobs effectively, and maintain high-quality standards. Deliver a first-class experience that encourages repeat business, positive feedback, and word-of-mouth referrals. About You: Previous experience in a Bodyshop, Accident Repair Centre, or Cosmetic Repair environment would be preferred but not essential. Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for customer service. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload efficiently. Positive, proactive attitude and a team player mindset. Comfortable explaining repair processes and technical details in clear, customer-friendly language. Experience using Kerridge / ADP or similar dealer management systems (preferred). A genuine interest in cars, quality workmanship, and exceeding customer expectations.
