Food Technology & Design Technology Teacher (Part-Time)
Location: Burton upon TrentWorking Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, ThursdayContract: Part-time, long-term role via The Supply Register
We are currently seeking a Food Technology & Design Technology Teacher to join a secondary school in Burton upon Trent on a part-time (3 days per week), long-term basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and enthusiastic teacher to deliver engaging, practical lessons across Food Technology and DT, inspiring students to develop creativity and confidence in a hands-on learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Food Technology and Design Technology
* Teach across Key Stages (KS3 and KS4)
* Ensure a safe and well-managed practical classroom environment
* Assess and monitor student progress
* Support students in developing practical, creative, and technical skills
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or equivalent)
* Have experience teaching Food Technology and/or DT at secondary level
* Be confident managing practical lessons and workshop/kitchen environments
* Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
* Be organised, proactive, and passionate about their subject
