About the role
As a Associate Project Developer at Queequeg Renewables, you will take a role in the development of wind, solar PV, and battery energy storage (BESS) projects in Italy. While this role is focused on the Italian market, many of our Italian team members are based in London, and we are open to candidates working from London only at this stage.You will work closely with Italian team and stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and local partners to ensure the successful advancement of our projects from early-stage development through to execution.
Building on the responsibilities of a Associate Project Developer, this role comes with understanding over the principles of development of renewable energy assets. You will liaise internal and external stakeholders, conduct high-level due diligence for acquisitions, and provide insights to your reporting team to help shape the company’s pipeline. Reporting directly to the project managers, this is an opportunity for a curious, talented individual to drive impactful renewable energy projects while learning and refining his or her skills in cross-functional collaboration.
Role responsibilities
* Support the progress of our Italian pipeline of wind, solar and BESS opportunities.
* Liaise with the project teams and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders deliver results consistently.
* Report to the project management.
* Review, assess technical and feasibility due diligence for project acquisitions and onboarding.
* Liaise and cooperate with the engineering team.
* Contribute to developing and implementing the company's pipeline.
Skills
* Project Management.
* QGIS and/or ArcGIS.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Time management capability.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Italian language: native or very fluent level
* English language: at least professional level, written and oral.
Experience/knowledge
* Background in Engineering, Environmental or similar degree.
