Employment Associate (2–6 PQE) Newcastle | Hybrid Working A highly regarded national law firm is looking to recruit an Employment Associate (2–6 PQE) to join its growing team in Newcastle.This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and expanding employment practice known for high quality work, a genuinely supportive culture, and a reputation that has been recognised through multiple national workplace awards. The Role You will join a collaborative team advising a broad client base across both the private and public sectors. The work is varied and offers a strong mix of contentious, advisory and corporate support matters, giving you exposure to the full spectrum of employment law. Typical work includes: Advising employers, HR teams, in-house counsel and senior executives on day-to-day employment issues Managing Employment Tribunal matters including discrimination and whistleblowing claims Advising on disciplinary processes, grievances, dismissals, redundancy and restructuring Drafting employment contracts, policies and other key documentation Supporting on the employment aspects of corporate transactions, including TUPE Assisting with internal workplace investigations Building strong relationships with clients and colleagues across other practice areas You will have good client exposure from the outset, while working within a supportive team environment where partners and senior lawyers remain approachable and invested in development.
