My client is looking for an experienced site manager to oversee a large-scale bathroom installation contract across the Ayrshire region. This is a 12‑week temporary contract with a strong opportunity to move into a permanent position.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing day‑to‑day site operations on a high‑volume bathroom refurbishment programme. The role requires strong leadership, organisation, and a proactive approach to health & safety and programme delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and coordinate all site activities
* Manage subcontractors and trades on site
* Ensure works are delivered on time and to specification
* Maintain high standards of health & safety compliance
* Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks
* Liaise with clients, suppliers, and senior management
* Monitor quality control and resolve site issues efficiently
* Maintain accurate site records and reporting
Essential Requirements
* Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
* Valid First Aid at Work certificate
* Proven experience managing refurbishment or bathroom contracts
* Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Own transport (essential)
