HR Manager
West Hampstead Area (3 days onsite)

Are you a people-focused HR professional looking to join a small, dynamic HR team in the education sector. Reporting to the Head of HR, this hands-on role offers the opportunity to mentor and support a team, drive best practice and make a real impact on employee experience across the organisation.
This is an exciting step up for an experienced HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor who is ready to take on a managerial position while staying involved in the day-to-day delivery of HR services.
What you’ll do:
* Lead, mentor, and support the HR team to deliver excellent service to stakeholders.
* Oversee the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, development, offboarding, and any contractual changes.
* Manage employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance, and investigations.
* Develop, implement, and review HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment law.
* Support payroll processes and ensure accurate HR data management.
* Collaborate with senior stakeholders, building strong relationships using a soft, pragmatic approach.
* Contribute to HR projects and initiatives that enhance engagement and drive organisational objectives.
About you:
* Strong generalist HR experience with proven ability in ER, policy implementation and mentoring.
* Experience supporting or leading HR casework with confidence.
* Skilled at building relationships with senior stakeholders.
* Understanding of payroll processes advantageous.
* CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience) preferred.
* Experience in the education sector is a plus.
