Secondary SEN Learning Mentor
Rate: 100 - 110 per day depending on experience
Exclusive Education is looking to appoint a Secondary SEN Learning Mentor to work across KS3 and KS4 at a secondary school in the Widnes area. This is a full-time role starting ASAP.
The ideal candidate will have previous SEN Teaching Assistant experience and be confident working with the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.
Requirements:
1. Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g., NCFE, CACHE, NVQ Level 1, 2, or 3) (desirable but not essential)
2. Eligibility to work in the UK or UK residency
3. Previous experience working with children within the last 2 years
4. Good knowledge of the secondary curriculum and assessment frameworks
5. Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs
6. Experience with KS3, KS4, and KS5
7. Two references working with children
8. Current DBS registered with the update service or willingness to apply for a new one
