We are partnering with a growing organisation to appoint an experienced HR Manager in a newly created role. This is a unique opportunity for a hands‑on HR professional to build and shape the HR function while leading the organisation’s global mobility and immigration activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and develop the HR function, implementing effective policies, procedures, and best practice frameworks
* Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on all HR matters
* Lead on employee relations activity, managing and resolving ER cases with a pragmatic, compliant approach
* Oversee global mobility and immigration processes, ensuring a smooth relocation experience for international talent
* Liaise with external legal partners to coordinate immigration and employment documentation
* Work closely with HMRC and internal teams on compliance, visa requirements, and reporting
* Partner with overseas suppliers and stakeholders to support international recruitment activity
* Act as the key point of contact for employees relocating to the UK, supporting them from offer through to settlement
* Coordinate onboarding and arrival logistics for new starters
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with employment legislation and visa requirements
What Youll Need To Succeed
* Proven experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor, ideally with experience building or shaping an HR function
* Strong background in employee relations and managing complex ER cases
* Experience in global mobility, immigration, or international relocation
* Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
* Confident liaising with legal professionals and senior stakeholders
* Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* A proactive, hands‑on approach with the ability to work autonomously
* Excellent communication skills with a supportive and pragmatic style
