Handyman – Permanent

Build Recruitment are working with a leading Housing Association to recruit a Handyperson to carry out minor repairs and safety checks across residential properties in West Kent.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Carry out health & safety checks (fire alarms, emergency lighting, water testing)
2. Complete minor repairs – basic plumbing, carpentry and general maintenance
3. Support communal areas and older persons’ schemes
4. Assist with garage inspections and upkeep
5. Deliver/install equipment (e.g. dehumidifiers, heaters)
6. Work alongside colleagues on two-person jobs when required
7. Report additional repairs and maintain van stock
Requirements:
8. Experience in general maintenance or multi-trade work
9. Basic skills in plumbing and carpentry
10. Good communication and customer service
11. Able to work independently
12. Full UK Driving Licence
