The primary role of the HR Manager will be to manage Trust HR policies, casework, and provide HR support and advice to the HR and payroll team. We’re looking for a hard‑working, enthusiastic person with high standards and the ability to communicate effectively with others as part of the Trust central team.
Responsibilities
* Manage and process complex HR casework in accordance with Trust Policies and Employment Law; including capability, absence and ill health, grievances, conduct and performance management.
* Provide support, advice and guidance to other areas of the HR team as directed by the HR Director.
* Advise the HR Director, COO, CEO and Trust senior management team, developing and implementing HR policies in all areas.
* Support the HR Director in promoting a culture that supports Trust strategic priorities and provides an enabling service environment.
* Develop and initiate evidence‑based, accessible policy in a fit‑for‑purpose style.
* Identify, develop and apply e‑HR solutions and process improvements.
* Provision of expert advice, guidance and support on a range of specialisms.
* Research new topics and legislation and advise on implications for the Trust.
* Make recommendations and initiate and deliver training as required.
