We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Manager to oversee and enhance our organisation's quality assurance processes to AS9100. We are a young and ambitious company wanting a motivated professional to drive us forward with a fresh, modern outlook. With a key focus on technology and automation, digital adoption experience an advantage but training and support provided.
Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems aligned with organisational goals and regulatory requirements.
* Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance to the QMS
* Analyse quality data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and areas for improvement.
* Lead investigations into product defects or non-conformities, implementing corrective and preventive actions effectively.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, R&D, and supply chain to optimise quality processes.
* Train staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
* Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics and present findings to senior management for strategic decision-making.
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations, certifications, and customer specifications at all times.
Experience
* Proven experience in a quality assurance or quality management role within manufacturing or food production sectors.
* Liaise with customers with a focus on customer experience with professional leadership skills.
* Demonstrable analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets to inform decision-making.
* Experience in developing and maintaining quality management systems compliant with AS9100 and ISO
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
* Strong communication skills to effectively train teams and liaise with external auditors or clients.
