Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role involves managing subcontractors, coordinating site activities, maintaining compliance, and liaising with clients and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities Health & Safety
Promote and maintain a strong health & safety culture on site
Conduct daily site inspections and toolbox talks
Manage RAMS, permits to work, and site compliance documentation
Report and manage incidents, risks, and safety concernsProject & Quality Management
Oversee site progress against programme and specifications
Coordinate subcontractors, labour, materials, and plant
Monitor workmanship and ensure quality standards are achieved
Manage RFIs, variations, snagging, and handoversTeam & Client Management
Lead and motivate site teams and subcontractors
Chair site meetings and provide progress updates
Maintain strong communication with clients, consultants, and management
Ensure accurate site records, diaries, and reporting are maintainedRequirements Essential
Proven Site Manager experience within construction
Valid SMSTS, CSCS Card, and First Aid qualification
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
Good IT skills and experience with digital reporting systems
Ability to manage multiple trades and workstreams effectivelyDesirable
NVQ Level 6 Site Management or equivalent
PASMA, IPAF, Asbestos Awareness, or Temporary Works training
Experience in commercial fit-out or refurbishment projectsPersonal Attributes
