The Role
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Developer/Cloud Architect to work with one of our public sector clients at Deloitte. You will be part of a team, supporting with the implementation of change and ongoing work for the client. This role combines development expertise, focusing on designing, building and deploying robust and scalable solutions within the Oracle Cloud. You will play a lead role in design sessions in shaping our cloud strategy and ensuring the successful implementation of our cloud-based projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong OCI skills, integration development best practices and provide technical leadership and guidance. You will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:
* Design and develop cloud applications and solutions on OCI, leveraging various services such as Compute, Networking, Storage, Databases, and Security.
* Develop and maintain integrations between OCI services and other on-prem or cloud-based systems.
* Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and deployment guides.
* Provide architectural direction and guidance to development teams, ensuring alignment with overall cloud strategy and best practices.
* Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to OCI infrastructure and applications.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Must be eligible and willing to obtain UK Government Security Clearance
* Cloud Architect with strong OCI skills
* Experience of integration development
* Ability to develop and also experience of developing documentation and providing architectural direction
