The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing quality assurance procedures, conducting inspections, and ensuring that all electrical installations meet current industry regulations, client specifications and safety standards. The ideal candidate will be an experienced electrician with management experience who is looking for a desk-based job. Day-to-day duties Develop, implement and maintain electrical quality assurance and control procedures across all installations (domestic and commercial). Conduct inspection and audits against electrical systems being installed both pre- and post-installation. Ensure compliance with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and local building codes. Coordinate with the wider team and subcontractors to ensure quality standards are met. Identify and manage the rectification of non-conformances and implement corrective/preventative actions. Collate, populate and submit installation test plans (ITPs) tick sheets, and quality documents throughout the length of the projects. Maintain detailed quality records and reports for audit. Collaborate with health and safety teams to ensure compliance with safety standards.
