Job Description
We’re looking for a technically minded Senior TM1 Developer who can design, develop and continuously improve IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) solutions, ensuring performance and meeting business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* TM1 Development & Maintenance:
* Develop and enhance Turbo Integrator (TI) processes and TM1 rules to automate data loads, calculations, and business logic.
* Design, build, and maintain TM1 cubes, dimensions, and hierarchies for budgeting, forecasting, and commercial analysis.
* Optimise model performance through efficient coding, cube structuring, and memory management.
* Architect and enhance TM1 models to enable robust cash‑flow monitoring and investment analysis.
* Integrate TM1 with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and other data sources to ensure consistent data flow.
* Implement scalable TM1 solutions aligned with strategic objectives.
* Proactively review and improve existing processes for efficiency and timely delivery.
* Handle system issues and support users for reporting and business management.
* Full ownership of the TM1 toolsets for T&F Finance, including upgrades and configuration.
* Relationship management with IBM and other TM1 developers across the organisation.
* Stakeholder Collaboration:
* Provide high‑level support to Finance, FP&A and Commercial colleagues to understand processes and reporting needs.
* Share information clearly and offer insights that support commercial decision‑making.
* Facilitate workshops and feedback sessions to refine scope and ensure user satisfaction.
* Governance & Compliance:
* Document TM1 processes and maintain clear records for audits and reviews.
* Knowledge Sharing:
* Deliver training sessions and user guides to maximise effective use of TM1.
* Support junior developers by offering guidance and promoting best practices.
Qualifications
* BS Degree or equivalent professional qualification.
* Knowledge of information systems concepts and practice, including all stages of systems development.
* Financial and commercial knowledge.
* Organised and rational approach to tasks with a focus on quality.
* Proficiency in MS Office applications.
* Familiarity with Alteryx and Power BI (ideal; training available).

Additional Information
* Right to work and live in the UK is required.
* The successful candidate must live within commuting distance of either our Milton Park office or London Blackfriars office and be able to attend 3 days per week.
