The Role
We are delighted to be supporting our client, a very well-established engineering business within the Pump industry who are seeking a Machine Shop Labourer to join their expanding team. Working as part of a small team and reporting into the Machine Shop manager, this role will see you undertaking a variety of tasks including
* Learning and operating manual mills and lathes to prepare raw materials for machining to engineering drawings
* Using sand/aquablaster to finish components used within their manufacturing process
* Deburring
* Assembling products
* Assisting with stock location and storage
* Packing finished products
Requirements
The successful Machine Shop Labourer will be an enthusiastic individual looking to learn. Experience in a machine shop is not essential as training will be given to those with the right attitude, but those with more experience will also be considered. You will enjoy working in a hands-on role and be physically fit and able to be on your feet all day.
Due to the Company's location being inaccessible by public transport, it's essential you have your own transport.
