Software Solutions Sales Executive
Location: Midlands/Southampton/Newcastle
Salary: Up to £45,000 + Commission + Company Car/Allowance + Benefits
Purpose of the role:
My client is looking for a Software BDM who will be working to develop new business opportunities through to sale for a range of digital software solutions, Automated Invoice Processing, Document Management, Digital Mail, Business Process automation and RPA.
You would be expected to generate new business sales, as well as upsell to our existing customer base, which exceeds 14,000. This is a hybrid sales role that offers flexibility in working hours between the office and home, within an established and successful team.
Key responsibilities:
* Identifying opportunities where our range of solutions can benefit target prospects/customers/partners both new and existing.
* Demonstrate ability to prospect for new business customers, whilst cross selling new software products into our existing client base.
* Ability to create and deliver compelling customer proposals.
* Meet / exceed sales performance targets (KPI) for software sales.
* Engage, support and encourage other team members to find innovative ways to prospect for new business, and establish warm introductions within our existing customer base.
* Comfortable to work in an office environment, as well as attend training sessions across our national network of offices.
Experience:
* Demonstrable success in a sales role, preferably within software/technology industries
* Proven track record in outbound sales
* Ability to demonstrate and sell the benefits of software solutions.
* Excellent communication skills, with strong verbal and written skills, and a professional demeanour
* Experienced in using a sales-based CRM system, such as Microsoft Dynamics or similar (advantageous)

* Confident in maintaining strong customer relationships
* Enthusiastic, with a can-do attitude
* Strong attention to detail
* Highly organised, process driven and ability to take full ownership and accountability of high-level projects
* Ability to work as part of a dynamic fast paced and tight knit team, as well as comfortable to work own your own initiative.
* Build effective working relationships with multiple stakeholders across the business
* Strong background in the use of all aspects of the suite of Microsoft Office would be beneficial, particularly Teams, Outlook, as well as a basic knowledge of Word and Excel.
