Key Responsibilities
1. In-House Sales & Guest Relations
* Manage all guest reservations (individual and group) across phone, email, and online booking platforms.
* Build and maintain relationships with repeat guests, VIP diners, hotel concierges, and walk‑in customers.
* Promote upselling of premium menu items, tasting menus, or festive set menus to increase average spend per guest.
* Respond to reservation inquiries and special requests in a professional and timely manner.
* Identify and convert group booking leads (birthdays, anniversaries, private dining, etc.) within the restaurant.
2. Marketing Strategy & Execution
* Plan and execute marketing campaigns to promote dine‑in experiences, new menus, promotions, and festive events (e.g. Diwali, National Day, Mother's Day).
* Collaborate with the operations and culinary teams to align campaigns with restaurant offerings and calendar highlights.
* Maintain an in‑house marketing calendar, coordinating promotions with internal events and public holidays.
3. Digital & Social Media Management
* Manage the restaurant’s social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) with regular, brand‑aligned content.
* Create and schedule engaging posts (food features, chef stories, behind‑the‑scenes, testimonials).
* Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and manage social campaigns (boosted posts, giveaways).
* Maintain accuracy and branding across third‑party platforms (Google, TripAdvisor, Chope, etc.).
4. Public Relations & Online Presence
* Monitor and respond to guest reviews on platforms such as Google, TripAdvisor, and Facebook in a courteous, brand‑consistent tone.
* Liaise with media outlets, bloggers, and influencers to arrange press tastings, mentions, or reviews.
* Coordinate with design or PR vendors (if any) for artwork, promotions, or listings in local dining directories.
5. Promotions & In‑Restaurant Activations
* Assist in planning and executing in‑house promotional activities such as festive décor setups, guest gifting (e.g., mithai boxes during Diwali), and themed dining events.
* Work closely with service and kitchen teams to ensure seamless execution of promotional events and campaigns.
* Support loyalty or membership initiatives (e.g., returning guest rewards, newsletter subscriptions, feedback‑driven offers).
6. Administrative & Reporting
* Track ROI on marketing activities, social engagement metrics, and guest feedback.
* Maintain and update a database of customer contacts for direct marketing (e.g., birthdays, anniversaries, promotions).
* Prepare weekly or monthly performance reports for management, including reservation trends, guest demographics, and campaign effectiveness.
* Ensure consistent branding across print and digital materials (menus, tent cards, eDMs, etc.).
Requirements
Education & Experience
* Degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality Management, or related field.
* Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in a marketing or sales role within the F&B or hospitality industry.
* Experience in fine dining and/or Indian cuisine establishments is highly preferred.
Skills & Competencies
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal).
* Excellent grasp of social media, digital marketing tools, and basic design aesthetics.
* Sales‑driven with a passion for exceeding guest expectations and increasing in‑house footfall.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Canva, Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp, or similar tools is a plus.
* Familiarity with reservation platforms (Chope, Quandoo, SevenRooms, etc.) is advantageous.
