About the role
The Data Quality Manager is responsible for driving best practices in Data Management, Governance & Quality to support Hastings’ ambition to become a Data Driven Organisation. The Data Quality Manager will be leading a small team to ensure high quality reconciled data is provided to the business/fed into downstream applications.
1. Own the CIO data governance framework that enable and assure the quality, security, and usability of our data.
2. Own the definition, documentation, and maintenance of CIO data governance artefacts (e.g., Policies, Processes, Guardrails etc)
3. Collaborate with members of the Risk & Audit, Data Protection/Legal Teams, to ensure compliance alignment for our data.
4. Collaborate with stakeholders to identifydata quality issues and prioritize checks required.
5. Lead on establishing monitoring systems to identify, expose and measure key data performance metrics.
6. Own the Data Quality framework and its implement within the CIO Data Team.
Skills we would love you to have:
7. Excellent understanding of Data Management, Governance and Quality strategies, frameworks, and best practice, with experience in their design as well as implementation.
8. Extensive experience in managing and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
9. Strong appreciation of process design and implementation.
10. Experience of the implementation and utilization of Data Management, Governance and Quality tooling to drive business value.
11. Strategic thinker with the ability to implement strategies through pragmatic and realistic roadmaps and actions plans.
