Site Manager (HV Cabling)
Our client, a leading company in the power distribution and energy sector, is currently seeking a Site Manager to join their team. This is a permanent role focused on managing EHV cable projects across the Berkshire / West London region.
If you have an SMSTS, Streetworks Supervisor ticket and have a good knowledge / experience of Utilities Infrastructure (Gas / Water / Telecoms / Highways) we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
* Overseeing all aspects of site management for EHV cable projects
* Ensuring compliance with NRSWA and SMSTS regulations
* Managing teams to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget
* Coordinating with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members
* Implementing safety protocols and conducting regular site inspections
* Monitoring and managing the use of resources and equipment
* Providing detailed progress reports and maintaining project documentation
* Resolving any on-site issues and mitigating project risks
Job Requirements
* SMSTS
* NRSWA Supervisory ticket
* Safe Digging practices / HSG47
* Utilities knowledge (Excavation, Ducting, Laying Utilities, Backfill & Reinstatement)
* Full UK driving licence
* Full right to work in the UK
* HV Power experience for an ICP / DNO (Desirable)
