We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to play a key role in identifying, shaping, and delivering LNG infrastructure projects.
The successful candidate will be part of our global LNG Growth team and work closely with colleagues in various international offices.
The responsibilities include:
* Developing and expanding the LNG project funnel in line with our growth strategy.
* A strong focus on Atlantic market opportunities, with additional support for APAC activities when required.
* Initiating and driving early-stage LNG opportunities, particularly in high-growth regions.
* Maturing the existing project funnel by leading and supporting pre-feasibility, pre-FEED, and FEED studies, aligned with internal development gates.
* Building and maintaining a strong network within the LNG and wider energy industry.
* Leading or supporting bidding processes for greenfield projects, development investments, and brownfield opportunities.
* Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, including technical, legal, finance, HSE, and tax teams.
* Working alongside colleagues from conventional and renewable energy business units to develop integrated growth opportunities.
* Leading negotiations and preparing investment materials for executive decision-making.
* Representing the organization at industry conferences and events as a thought leader and contributor.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A bachelor's degree or equivalent, ideally in engineering, economics, or a related field.
* Around 10 years of relevant experience in business development, preferably in LNG, gas, or power generation.
* A proven track record in identifying and delivering complex projects in the energy sector.
* Strong understanding of the LNG value chain and energy transition dynamics.
* Excellent stakeholder and project management skills.
* Experience with financial modelling and valuation principles.
* Fluent communication skills and the ability to work across different cultures and functions.
* A proactive and results-oriented mindset.
