Cook for small hotel in Central Scotland. Live in available
This solo position is ideal for a Cook who has a passion for producing smaller numbers of dishes of the highest quality.
The customers are guests of a small hotel/B&B who will appreciate the additional care and attention to detail that is possible when fewer dishes are required during service. There'll also be plenty of opportunity to add special touches that a faster service process might not allow.
Generally, meals will include between 10 and 30 breakfasts and between 8 and 15 dinners, all served over several hours.
Pitlochry is a highly scenic holiday town in the heart of Scotland, nestled amidst hundreds of miles of hills and mountains, close to the Cairngorms National Park. This post may therefore be ideal for a lover of the great outdoors.
* To succeed in this job, you'll be a relaxed,flexible team player who is well organised, with a clean work-style
* You will be able to demonstrate having worked in a similar setting for at least 3 years
* Most orders arrive in advance and so there is reasonably little pressure in preparation or service for an organised worker.
* Proof of permission to work in the UK will be checked
* References will be necessary
