Local Maids is a fast growing cleaning company providing high quality regular home domestic cleaning. As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a motivated and experienced Internal Recruiter to help us hire reliable, professional cleaners and support our operations team.
Office based role - in Mitcham CR4 3FH
Role Overview
We’re looking for someone with solid recruitment experience who understands the full hiring lifecycle, from sourcing and screening to onboarding. You’ll play a key role in ensuring we bring on cleaners who match our standards, culture, and service expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Source, screen, and interview candidates for cleaner positions
* Manage job postings across hiring platforms
* Review CVs and conduct initial phone/video interviews
* Coordinate trial shifts and onboarding
* Maintain candidate pipelines and update tracking systems
* Communicate clearly with candidates regarding expectations and next steps
* Work closely with the operations team to understand daily/weekly hiring needs
* Ensure all recruitment processes meet company standards
* Support with compliance, ID checks, and right to work documentation
Requirements
* Proven recruitment experience (in-house or agency)
* Strong understanding of high volume or service based hiring
* Excellent communication and people skills
* Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
* Organised, proactive, and detail oriented
* Comfortable using recruitment software and spreadsheets
* Ability to assess candidate suitability quickly and effectively
* Experience hiring cleaners or similar service roles (preferred but not required)
