We are partnering with a growing organisation to appoint an experienced HR Manager into a newly created role. This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on HR professional to build and shape the HR function while leading the organisation’s global mobility and immigration activities.
This role will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys operating, both strategically and operationally developing structures, implementing policies, managing employee relations, and coordinating international talent relocation to the UK.
Your new role
Key Responsibilities
1. Build and develop the HR function, implementing effective policies, procedures, and best practice frameworks
2. Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on all HR matters
3. Lead on employee relations activity, managing and resolving ER cases with a pragmatic,pliant approach
4. Oversee global mobility and immigration processes, ensuring a smooth relocation experience for international talent
5. Liaise with external legal partners to coordinate immigration and employment documentation
6. Work closely with HMRC and internal teams onpliance, visa requirements, and reporting
7. Partner with overseas suppliers and stakeholders to support international recruitment activity
8. Act as the key point of contact for employees relocating to the UK, supporting them from offer through to settlement
9. Coordinate onboarding and arrival logistics for new starters
10. Maintain accurate records and ensurepliance with employment legislation and visa requirements
What you'll need to succeed
11. Proven experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor, ideally with experience building or shaping an HR function
12. Strong background in employee relations and managingplex ER cases
13. Experience in global mobility, immigration, or international relocation
14. Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
15. Confident liaising with legal professionals and senior stakeholders
16. Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
17. A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work autonomously
18. Excellentmunication skills with a supportive and pragmatic style
