Description
Ready to shape the future of cloud computing - one hire at a time? Join Amazon Web Services' (AWS) Talent Acquisition team as a Full Lifecycle Recruiter and become the bridge between world-class talent and career-defining opportunities. You'll own the complete recruitment journey - from discovering and engaging candidates to closing offers - while driving hiring effectiveness across multiple teams and creating meaningful experiences that reflect Amazon's commitment to inclusion and excellence.
Key job responsibilities
* Build high-quality, diverse talent pipelines that fuel AWS's growth by sourcing and engaging candidates using internal and external tools, multiple sourcing and closing methodologies, and diverse channels - including events, conferences, online communities, employee referrals, and career portals - across multiple teams and roles
* Apply data and domain expertise to accurately identify, engage, and assess candidates at various levels for complex, multi-team requisitions where sourcing and closing strategies are partially defined, delivering single and/or cross-region impact
* Drive positive candidate experiences by developing effective relationships with client teams and candidates to build prospective networks, influencing client teams to follow recruiting best practices such as writing effective job descriptions, messaging, and clear value propositions
* Elevate hiring effectiveness across supported teams by educating and coaching hiring managers on sourcing methodologies and closing strategies, and supporting interviewers on recruiting and interviewing best practices to improve metrics
* Own recruiting projects in partnership with client teams that improve hiring effectiveness and related metrics, including pipeline activity, conversion rates, candidate experience, and candidate cycle time
A day in the life
No two days are the same, and that's exactly what makes this role exciting. As a Full Lifecycle Recruiter, you'll engage in a diverse range of activities that keep your work dynamic and impactful. Your day might begin by leveraging data and funnel metrics to refine sourcing strategies across multiple teams and roles, followed by using your domain expertise to accurately identify and engage candidates at various levels for complex, multi-team job requisitions.
You'll develop and maintain effective relationships with hiring managers and client teams, educating them on sourcing methodologies, closing strategies, and interviewing best practices to improve their hiring effectiveness. Throughout the day, you'll monitor external talent pipeline trends and competitor intelligence, own recruiting projects that drive measurable improvements in hiring metrics, and use diverse channels - such as events, conferences, and online communities - to engage relevant candidate groups. You'll clear blockers by driving timely decisions, identify and mitigate risks across your pipelines, and mentor newer team members while continuously improving team processes, data integrity, and operational excellence.
