About the role Are you a curious problem-solver who thrives on delivering high-quality digital services? Join our Platforms & Applications team within the Digital, Data & Technology Department (DDaT) and help shape the future of technology at the University of Bath. As a Power Platform Developer, you’ll work collaboratively with colleagues, stakeholders and suppliers to develop, configure, support and maintain a wide range of applications, services and integrations. You’ll be part of a dynamic team driving innovation and delivering high-quality digital services that support students, staff and the University. About you Taking ownership of your work and delivering high standards of service and support. Applying sound judgement and technical knowledge to solve problems, handle incidents and improve system performance. Supporting change initiatives and contributing to a culture of innovation. Managing your time effectively to meet deadlines and deliver results. Applying IT Project Management methods, particularly Agile and DevOps, to help deliver solutions efficiently and collaboratively. Solid understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles, including change management and incident handling. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively. Strong experience in developing and configuring solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse). Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Salesforce. Proven ability to apply IT Project Management methods, particularly Agile and DevOps, to deliver technology solutions effectively. Strong commitment to quality, security, and reliability in all development and configuration work. Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and suppliers to achieve shared goals. Skilled in time management and prioritization, ensuring deadlines and service standards are consistently met. A proactive mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
