Job Title: Air Conditioning Sales Executive
Location: Manchester (commutable distance)
Salary: Up to £50,000 + company car + commission

Role purpose
You will drive new business growth by selling air-conditioning and HVAC solutions to end-users and M&E companies. The role involves identifying, developing and closing opportunities—especially service and maintenance contracts—while working closely with technical teams to ensure client needs are met and standards upheld.
Key responsibilities
New business development
* Source and engage potential customers within target sectors (end-users, M&E companies)
* Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities, from first contact to contract signature
* Present HVAC solutions (installation, servicing, maintenance) in line with client requirements
Service & maintenance contract sales
* Focus on selling recurring revenue service and maintenance agreements
* Develop relationships with existing clients to identify upsell opportunities and renewals
* Work with internal service teams to ensure smooth hand-over and delivery
Technical understanding & solution selling
* Use your knowledge of air-conditioning and HVAC systems to consult with clients, understand their needs and propose appropriate solutions
* Liaise with in-house technical/engineering teams to ensure proposals are feasible, competitive and compliant
* Stay abreast of industry standards and product developments to maintain credibility with clients
Territory & account management
* Cover the Manchester and wider North West region (or commutable area)
* Manage key accounts, build long-term relationships and ensure high levels of client satisfaction
* Report on sales activities, forecasts and results to senior management
Candidate profile
* Proven experience selling to end-users or M&E contractors, ideally within the HVAC / air-conditioning sector
* Good technical knowledge of air-conditioning or HVAC systems (installation, servicing, maintenance)
* Experience in selling service / maintenance contracts strongly preferred
* Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
* Driven, target-oriented and able to work with minimal supervision
* Based within a commutable distance of Manchester
