What are we looking for?
* 3 years proficiency in Node.js, Express, or equivalent server framework
* Experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB data modeling
* Familiarity with JWT‑based authentication and RBAC patterns
* Understanding of API versioning, rate limits, and testing
* Git/GitHub workflow (branches, PRs, code reviews)
* Comfort working from detailed Notion specs and endpoint contracts
* Passion for climate tech and collaborative dev environments
Role Summary
As an experienced back‑end developer, you'll help implement secure, scalable services for One Sky’s public website and reporting systems. This includes API development, data modeling, access control, and admin feature support.
Responsibilities
* Build and document RESTful APIs for daily impact metrics and user action history for reporting
* Define and optimise data models for EcoJourneys, refills, cleanups, challenges, referral tracking and streak logic, quizzes, campaigns, and report payloads
* Ad management and payout logic
* Implement role‑based access controls (e.g. Brand, Org, Influencer)
* Integrate external services (email, CMS, analytics)
* Assist in exporting daily/weekly impact summaries via JSON/CSV
* Ensure data consistency across reporting streams
* Support Super Admin panel API endpoints (quiz editor, campaign loader, streak engine)
