Learning Mentor Salary: Grade 6 Hours: 30 (flexible) 39 weeks - Part time and term time only Start date: as soon as possible JD AAAD5074/ AAAD5031 This is an exciting opportunity to join our amazing team in a special role to provide support to our vulnerable and SEND children. The Governors of our lovely school are seeking to appoint a dedicated, kind and compassionate Learning Mentor who has the knowledge and experience to provide exceptional social and emotional support, promoting positive wellbeing and mental health, as well as educational support within a teaching assistant role in the classroom. The right candidate would also need the necessary skills to occasionally provide class cover as and when needed. We are looking for a warm, caring individual who knows how to best support children’s individual needs and can effectively liaise with families and external agencies. The role would also involve supporting the school in maintaining high standards of behaviour and attendance.
