Job Description

Key Responsibilities

3. Partner closely with the site leadership team as a trusted HR advisor
4. Deliver comprehensive, end-to-end generalist HR support across the site
5. Coach and influence managers on employee relations, performance management, and effective leadership practices
6. Support the execution of the annual people plan
7. Lead the review, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR policies and best practice
8. Design and deliver learning and development initiatives
9. Promote a positive, regenerative culture aligned with company values
10. Ensure effective use of HR systems and full compliance with employment legislation
11. Strengthening the recruitment pipeline to address ongoing hiring challenges
12. Closing gaps within the production workforce
13. Supporting succession planning and building organisational capability
14. Maintaining employee engagement during a high-demand, fast-paced period
15. Responding to engagement survey feedback through forums and the PDR cycle

The Successful Applicant

A successful Part-time HR Manager should have:

16. Proven HR generalist experience, ideally at HR Manager or strong HR Advisor level.
17. Familiarity with working in a fast-paced, operational environment; manufacturing experience is advantageous.
18. Strong knowledge of employment law and its application.
19. Confidence in providing expert advice on HR policies and procedures.
20. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive working relationships.
21. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
22. Ability to coach, influence, and build relationships with site leadership.
23. Pragmatic, grounded, and credible-able to challenge constructively without disrupting.

24. Hourly rate depending on experience.
25. 30 hours per week with a flexible schedule.
26. Pro rata salary equivalent to £40,000 annually.
