Role Overview
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice HR Administrator to join the central HR team at Prospere Learning Trust. This fixed‑term appointment is for 18 months, full‑time (35 hours per week) with Grade 3 salary (£25,185 per annum). Apprenticeship training will culminate in Level 3 HR Support and, upon successful completion, you may be offered a permanent HR Administrator post.
Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support to HR colleagues and schools, including advertising vacancies and coordinating shortlisting packs.
* Carry out pre‑employment checks to ensure candidates are qualified and suitable, supporting safer recruitment in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance.
* Create, maintain and update staff records to support HR reporting.
* Manage the HR inbox and handle internal and external calls.
* Learn and apply routine HR procedures, ensuring processes comply with policy.
* Operate ICT systems including Arbor and Office 365.
* Support safeguarding responsibilities and maintain confidentiality.
Training & Qualification
Full training will be provided with a Level 3 programme in HR Support (Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education). You will receive online learning, onsite assessment at work, tutorials and a portfolio for assessment. A work‑based tutor will support you throughout the apprenticeship.
Career Progression
At the end of the fixed‑term appointment and upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will be considered for a permanent HR Administrator role within the Trust.
