Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join us as a Behavioural Learning Mentor. As part of our team, you will work closely with students who require additional support to manage their behaviour and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-on-one mentoring and support to students with behavioural challenges
* Develop and implement behaviour management plans tailored to the needs of individual students
* Foster positive relationships with students, building trust and rapport
* Support students in developing self-regulation and social skills
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure holistic support for students
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with students with behavioural challenges preferred
* Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience, empathy, and a non-judgmental approach
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and de-escalate challenging situations
