Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join a dynamic and forward-thinking construction company. This company is dedicated to delivering high-quality projects and maintaining exceptional standards in health and safety, quality, and overall project execution. The role is based on an £18 million education project at Brooksby Melton, focusing on the completion of two college buildings currently under construction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the completion of two college buildings, ensuring all work aligns with project timelines and quality standards.
Organise and enforce health and safety regulations on-site, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.
Monitor and manage project progress, identifying and addressing any issues to ensure smooth operations.
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Ensure compliance with construction standards and regulations, maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
Desired Qualifications and Experience
Proven experience as a Site Manager, preferably in the education sector or similar projects.
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification and CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card are essential.
First Aid certification is highly desirable.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams effectively.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
